THis wasn't just CCAD Downtown. I think this was also a small town Bee and I wandered into that I've forgotton the name of. Either way, this is a film stock that is a bit more forgiving than several of the others I featured here. That makes it easier to work with and improves the communication of compositions. One of the events Bee and I shot on this roll was an Art Show at CCAD. It can be challenging to photograph art artistically because it raises the question of if a beautiful photo is because of the art of the photo or because of the art it is photographing. I tried to incorporate other elements of the scenes in my compositions here (such as walls, detail shots and people) to take more ownership of the final photos and add interest. It's obvious this technique was more effective in some areas than others.
