I was one of the volunteer photographers at Columbus Pride again in 2026. This year I knew I would be heavily limited in the number of edits I could provide - it's usually set at 10 or 20 for the entire event - so I deliberately tried to approach my shooting more artistically. I was somewhat successful; it is very easy to fall back into standard event documentation shooting. I was on my SL2 with the 23-70mm zoom and did better with my power management this year than last year, tho I did struggle on the friday evening shooting because I did not come prepared to event shoot.
