I don't have the opportunity to shoot night shots as often as I would like (the fun places to shoot at night also tend to be places it's not safe to walk around alone at with expensive cameras) and this was a spontaneous shoot that took place in German Village. I was using this as an opportunity to try to capture the more mundne houses and neighborhoods in a more artistic way, primarily with the use of negative space to lend emphasis to graduations of darker tones and to play with the juxtaposition of light against dark.
