Most of these photos were taken on the big island. Did you know Hawaii has cow ranches and cowboys? Neither did I! They also have groups of ranging goats, which are said to be the spirits of deceased Hawaiian warriors. The amount of such wildlife is apparently a problem, as one of the hiking trails my family visited was closed one day for aerial shooting of wildlife.
