This was again for one of the photo groups I was participating in weekly during the Pandemic. The theme for this one was 'so tight' which I chose to interprate as being in a tight spot. It just so happened that I had all the cabinet work in place in my kitchen to lay some new countertop, and part of it was uncovered. I shot this with lights on one side and pointing down into the tight space that would become where my bar stools would go on either side of the counter. I actually also used this shoot as part of a guide that I wrote online on how to handle lighting and self-photography in home settings. The screenshot of all the images was used to explain how many many test shots were taken to result in just a few final images. There is always a delete-keep ratio in taking photos, and the ratio is always far, far higher for self photography, purely because you cannot see what the photo looks like as you are taking so you have to repeatedly guess, check, adjust, and try again.
