This was my first studio shoot for a long while. I was also testing the battery performance of the Leica Q2 in a studio scenario. The lights I kept simple; the goal was to a do a play on traditional professional business portraiture. The Q2 would not work with my remote and I had to use the Leica app, which forcable limited the number of shots I could viable take (no continuous remote shooting) and forced me to be much more intentional with my shots. The wide angle of the Q2 was also a factor, and the resulting lens distortion was fairly apparent to me in post. It was not a flattering additiona particularly in how it rendered my hips, which was one reason many of my shots ended up being cropped tighter. Ultimately I caved before the camera battery did.
