Vic and I wandered in the Park of Roses taking photos. This was our first shoot together, and I was slightly less focused on my photography than I usually am as I was trying to adjust my rythym slightly. I am always careful when taking pictures with a new person not to get too deeply focused as it can create awkwardness for the other person. This was my first real time taking out the 120mm macro lens with my GFX. Some of these shots are on that lens, and some are on my trust 56mm on the XT4. Can you tell which is which? The lighting wasn't really there for nature photography, so I tried compensating with short focus and extra contrast in order to acheieve the kind of separation I prefer for nature work.
